Montreal, June 22, 2023<\/strong>.<\/strong> Evol has published its annual report for 2022-2023. For over a year and a half, Evol has been pursuing its ambition to transform the economy to make it more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable, by developing and supporting impact entrepreneurship.<\/p>

Thanks to the commitment of major public and private partners, Evol now has an envelope of $60 million. In the past year, it granted $10.6 million in support to businesses owned by entrepreneurs who represent the multiplicity of faces that make up our society and who have a positive impact in line with the UN\u2019s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>

\u201cThe climate emergency and persistent social inequalities remind us of the importance of a sustainable economy at the service of all people,\u201d says Chantal Thieblin Goffoz, Interim Co-CEO of Evol. \u201cTo achieve this, we are continuing to support many engaged entrepreneurs who are agents of change.\u201d <\/p>

The year 2022-2023 saw the development and enhancement of a number of initiatives and tools to better guide clients. We invested 15,650 hours in support and direct guidance to entrepreneurs in the 17 regions of Quebec.<\/p>

\u201cMore than ever, we see the extent to which support offered to entrepreneurs is a key factor in their success,\u201d says Vicky Marchand, Interim Co-CEO of Evol. \u201cLeveraging over 25 years of experience in the area, we are proud that our human support earned us a satisfaction rate of 93% this year.\u201d<\/p>

In the past year, Evol also became an agent for the Women Entrepreneurship Loan Fund for Quebec, published its first impact financing report, and won the Prix Prosp\u00e8re de l\u2019employeur innovant<\/em> for being an innovative employer.<\/p>

\u201cIt was a year of innovation at Evol,\u201d says Alain-Olivier Desbois, Interim President of Evol\u2019s Board of Directors. \u201cWhether through the deployment of a more complete financing and coaching offer, through the creation of many essential services and tools for entrepreneurs, or the recognition of its efforts with human resources, Evol is an essential player in the Quebec entrepreneurial ecosystem.\u201d <\/p>

From the platform of this strong performance, G\u00e9raldine Martin, our newly appointed CEO, will start the next chapter for Evol.<\/p>
