We are pleased to announce the composition of our 2024-2025 board of directors, which was formed during our annual general meeting on June 18.<\/p>
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Nadia Martel as president of the board of directors. With more than 25 years of legal and management experience, Nadia Martel offers invaluable expertise to steer our organization to new successes.<\/p>

I would also like to thank our two new directors and express my deep gratitude to our two outgoing directors, including our former president of the board.\u201d<\/p>
At the last annual general meeting, two new directors joined the Evol board of directors: Beno\u00eet Auger and Patrick Thibault.<\/p>
Every member offers a distinct skillset and knowledge and contributes to the strength of the group. The experience and expertise of these two new board members will enable Evol to continue its track record of success with optimism and confidence. <\/p>
These feelings are shared by the outgoing president, Alain-Olivier Desbois, who played an important role in Femmessor\u2019s evolution into Evol and in implementing the impact funding envelope. <\/p>
\u201cI am ending my mandate with Evol with a sense of mission accomplished,\u201d said Alain-Olivier Desbois, outgoing president of Evol\u2019s board of directors. \u201cSince the launch of the impact funding envelope in 2021, over $24.5 million in financing has been granted to 161 businesses, generating $67.4 million in investment spin-offs. With the ambitions our organization is pursuing, based on the most recent strategic planning exercise, Evol is on a promising trajectory to position itself in impact financing and reach new heights.\u201d <\/p>
Made up primarily of seasoned entrepreneurs, Evol\u2019s board of directors contributes a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to our organization.<\/p>
